For ages people raved to me about the benefits of eating early, before 7 pm, but until I had children I never tried it. However, now that we love having an early family dinner all together with the kids I've really noticed the benefits. Your digestive system doesnt have to work overtime and sleep is better and deeper.
We all eat the same thing, and puddings are a shared delight. Top of the hit parade at the moment is sugar free chocolate mousse, topped with strawberry and banana. And there's a special treat hidden in the recipe for the grown ups too - anti-oxidants in the cacao powder and avocado which is brilliant for the skin.
1 frozen banana (instead of throwing slightly browned bananas away, I slice them up and put them in the freezer)
1 tbsp honey
a pinch of salt
1 tbsp cocao powder
1/4 cup of cashew nuts
This is incredibly easy. Just throw all the ingredients in your mixer (I use a Vitamix) and blend. Place in bowls and serve.
